Event Hairstyling at Home: What You Can and Can’t Do

Got an important dinner, a party or a night out where you want to look flawless? Instead of rushing to a salon an hour before and waiting in line, you can get ready at home, at your own pace. I bring everything needed and take care of your hair, while you stay relaxed until the last minute.

Which occasions it’s right for

• dinners, birthdays and parties;
• weddings, for the bride and guests (no updos or elaborate styles);
• christenings and other family events;
• photo shoots;
• office events, conferences and presentations;
• any day you want to look different from usual.

What I do and what I don’t

I do blow-dries, curls, straightening and styling: a voluminous blow-dry, loose waves or more defined curls, sleek straight hair, or a quick finish that lasts all evening.

I don’t do updos or very elaborate hairstyles. They’re a specialty of their own, with trials and a lot of work time. I’m happy to style the bride, in natural looks: blow-dry, curls or styling. I’d rather be honest from the start than promise something I don’t do.

Simple styling or quick styling: what’s the difference?

• Simple styling, 125 lei: blow-dry, curls or straightening. The right choice for an event, when you want a complete look.
• Quick styling, 100 lei: a fast finish with hold products, for a clean, defined look in little time.
• Flat-iron straightening, 100 lei: sleek, shiny hair, with heat protection. I don’t do keratin or permanent straightening.

Travel is included in the price within the coverage area.

How long it lasts and how to keep it

Tell me what you’re getting ready for and how long it needs to last: a two-hour dinner or a party that goes late into the night. On fine hair, curls and volume drop faster, so I choose the right hold products. On thick, heavy hair, I work in smaller sections so the shape holds.

• Come with clean, fully dry hair, unless we’re doing a blow-dry.
• Avoid touching your hair too often in the first hours; curls settle over time.
• If it’s windy or humid outside, a loose scarf helps a lot.

I use heat protection whenever I work with a flat iron or curling iron.

Several people before the same event

If several of you are getting ready, for example a mother and daughter or a few friends before a party, we organise it in one visit at the same address. Tell me how many of you there are and what time you need to be ready, so I can start on time. If the event is on a weekend, I also come on Saturdays or Sundays, for a group of 4 people, between 9:00 and 16:00. For four people, the Glam Deal applies: 440 lei for 4 stylings. For members of the same family, the Family Deal applies, with a discount on any service.

Weddings: for the bride, guests and the wedding party

I can get the bride, guests and part of the wedding party ready, in natural looks without updos or elaborate styles, up to 4 people in one day, at the same address. While the seasonal offers are active, the discounts can apply too:

• Glam Deal, for 4 stylings (blow-dry & style or styling, you can mix them): 440 lei instead of 500, so 110 lei per person. It’s the best fit for guests getting ready together.
• Family Deal, if you’re from the same family (for example the groom’s mother and sisters): 5–15% off any service, styling included.
• Gentlemen’s Deal, for 4 men’s haircuts: the groom and his groomsmen get their haircuts the same morning.
• Ladies’ Deal, for 4 women’s haircuts: the bridesmaids get their haircuts before the wedding.
• Girlfriends Deal, for 4 root colourings: friends refresh their colour together a few days before.
