In 2026, grooms are leaving behind shiny gel and “overdone” haircuts. The trend is natural texture: clean cuts tailored to your face shape that look great in photos without looking like you walked out of the barber's five minutes ago.
I'm Cristi and I cut hair at home in Bucharest. I come to you on the wedding morning or a few days before, for the groom and his groomsmen.
The 5 groom haircut trends of 2026
1. Textured crop
Short on the sides, with texture on top and a short fringe, straight or loose. Modern, styled in two minutes, and great for hair that's starting to thin.
2. Textured quiff
Volume at the front, swept back or to the side, set with matte paste, not gel. The classic groom style, perfect with a suit or a tuxedo.
3. Tapered fade
Shorter at the nape and sides, gradually longer towards the top. Very clean and almost no upkeep.
4. Natural medium length
Medium-length hair left to show its natural waves. For grooms with thick or wavy hair and for more relaxed weddings.
5. Classic side part, combed back
A classic scissor cut with a side part and the hair combed back. Elegant, timeless and flawless in photos.

When to get your haircut before the wedding
Some grooms prefer a haircut a few days before, so the hair can “settle”. Others want it on the wedding morning, for perfect lines in photos, especially with a fade. When I come to your home, either works, with no trip to the barber on the big day.

- Men's haircut: 80 lei, finishing and styling included. Scalp massage optional, +35 lei.
- Beard trim & grooming: 53 lei.
- Time: 30–45 minutes per person.
- Gentlemen's Deal: 4 haircuts for 284 lei, or 71 lei per person. Perfect for the groom and 3 groomsmen.
- Weekends: for weddings I come between 9:00 and 16:00, for a group of 4 people.
